We honor our Fallen by connecting their family to a critical part of the warrior life – the SOF community. Our efforts extend beyond the family – to the service members who must cope with the traumatic experience of losing a friend.
Gold Star Children are given an opportunity to team up with Warriors who served with and knew their parent well. Giving them insight into their Fallen Warrior’s life. And an opportunity to see their own personality traits as a reflection of that parent’s heroic strength and commitment.
The Legacy Project fosters self-confidence, preparing Gold Star Children to cross the critical thresholds that lie ahead.
The Crossing
Adolescent Gold Star Children are paired with mentors who served alongside their parent in a 12-day wilderness/survival training experience.

LiT (LEADERS IN TRAINING)
A year-long enrichment program designed for Gold Star high school students. LiT equips children with experiences, education and mentorship necessary to discover their voice and lead a life of meaning and purpose.
Creative Arts Workshop
A five-day experience empowering Gold Star Children to build self-confidence by discovering their voice and sharing their story through the creative arts. Kids are introduced to a variety of mediums while exploring the art process and finding new ways to communicate and express themselves.
